What are the Benefits of Joining the BRA?

We are a small group in the Bingie area working to build community, keep people informed, organise community activities and look after our area. By joining you can:
* Get to know your local community and have fun!
* Get support to work on local issues and services you care about
* Help protect and enhance the natural beauty and wildlife of Bingie, and learn more about it
* Communicate through our email, Facebook and website channels and be informed

We negotiate with Council, Roads and Maritime Services and other agencies about services and development proposals.

We run workshops on wildlife, weed control, fire safety, local geology, internet services etc.

We coordinate weeding, planting, wildlife sighting and monitoring, and get funding support to run projects in these areas.

We have a community gathering at least once a year at Christmas (the Bingie Bash) and meet at other times for workshops etc.

You can find out a lot more about what we do on our website.

If you have any questions please email bingieresidentsassociation@gmail.com

Remember we are small community group run by volunteers, so we’re also interested in how you can contribute!
