Landowners in our local areas are invited to a series of two free workshops being jointly run by Nature Conservation Council of NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service. More information below. If you are keen, apply online asap. Got questions? Contact Neale (NCC) or Steve (RFS) The Hotspots Fire Project is a training program which provides landholders, and land managers, with the skills and knowledge needed to actively, and collectively, participate in fire management planning and implementation for the enhancement of biodiversity conservation. The workshops are principally aimed at landholder properties with areas of native vegetation and where landholders have an interest in enhancing biodiversity values on their properties. Although focussed in the Bingie, Meringo, Bergalia and Congo areas, applicants outside these areas may also be considered if there is space. Your browser does not support viewing this document.
